The more-for-less all-in-one POS

The Colormetrics P1000 all-in-one touch POS system was designed for everyone in retail and hospitality who places importance on a sophisticated design and wants to get a lot of POS at a small price tag – in short, for you!

We equipped the POS systems of the P1000 Series with a large 15'' touch display, thereby focusing great value on excellent resolution. It has 1,024 x 768 pixels and 300 nits of brightness. This makes all the displayed contents ideally readable at all times, for both you and your employees – even in poor lighting conditions. You have your choice between a capacitive and resistive display (we will explain the differences in the display types further on).

Performs as superbly as you do

The POS system P1000 convinces with top performance! We believe that whoever performs at 200% every day should also expect the same from their POS system. That's why we equipped the P1000 with a fast Intel Celeron J1900 Quad-Core processor with 2 GHz and 2 GB RAM (expandable up to 8 GB) and a 64 GB SSD hard drive. An HDD hard drive is also optionally available. The P1000 comes with two serial/COM, four USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, there is a gigabit LAN port for quick Ethernet data transfer, a 24V port for your cash drawer and a VGA port, in case you wish to connect additional monitors. And here's a practical feature: we have integrated the power supply of the P1000 into the stand.

Psst - do you hear it?

Of course not! You won't, either. Even in your shop, bar or restaurant, the P1000 POS system will not make a sound. It functions without mechanical ventilation and moving parts – which reduces wear and makes the P1000 silent. That makes it the ideal POS system for everyone who finds a quiet atmosphere important in their shop, restaurant or bar.

It's so attractive, that you could put it right on the wall

The P1000 all-in-one POS system has a practical VESA 100 bracket for wall mounting. This makes it well suited for usage at minimalistic sales counters or the POS with very limited space.

Plus...

...there's a whole lot of accessories. For example, a customer display with 2 x 20 characters, two fully-fledged 8"/9.7" customer monitors, a magnetic stripe reader and an iButton lock, so that you and your employees do not need to remember complicated passwords.

Display - resistive or capacitive?

Capa-who? The choice is yours when it comes to the touch technologies of your POS monitor. To help make your decision easier, let us briefly explain the technology at work behind the scenes.

Capacitive display

Capacitive displays are used for smartphones and tablets. They react to the touch of a finger or conductive stylus. They do not react to prosthetics, normal pens or gloved fingers. Capacitive monitors are very resilient against scratches, but are not easily readable in sunlight.

Resistive displays

Resistive displays react to pressure – even from that of a stylus or a gloved finger. They are less expensive than capacitive monitors, but react somewhat slower and are sometimes sensitive to high pressure.
